20-YEAR Limited Flooring Warranty Warranty:

Krafter’s Land Cabinetry Inc. (“KL”) warrants to the original residential purchaser that Posheen® SPC flooring products will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of twenty (20) years from the original purchase date.

This warranty applies only to flooring that has been installed in residential interior environments and maintained according to the manufacturer’s installation and maintenance instructions.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and original installation location.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Proper installation is essential to the performance of Posheen® SPC flooring.

KL strongly recommends installation by a qualified retailer, contractor, or professional installer.

KL is not responsible for installation defects. All installation responsibility rests with the installer.

When properly installed according to installation guidelines, the flooring is warranted that:

• Floor edges will not curl

• The click-lock system will not disengage

• The flooring will not swell under normal indoor conditions

Failure to follow installation instructions may void this warranty.

TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY CONDITIONS

SPC flooring is designed to perform within the following environmental conditions:

Temperature range:
10°F to 140°F (-12°C to 60°C)

Recommended indoor humidity range:
25% – 80% relative humidity

Exposure to environmental conditions outside these limits may cause product failure and is not covered under warranty.

RESIDENTIAL PERFORMANCE WARRANTY

Under normal residential use, Posheen® SPC flooring is warranted that:

• The floor will not tear or gouge from normal household use

• The decorative wear layer will not wear through

• The product will not contain manufacturing defects

Wear-through is defined as the complete loss of the decorative design layer caused by normal household foot traffic.

Minor scratches, gloss reduction, and normal surface wear are not considered manufacturing defects.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover damage, failure, or defects resulting from or related to, including but not limited to:

Improper Installation

• Failure to follow installation instructions

• Improper subfloor preparation

• Uneven or unstable subfloor

• Failure to provide required expansion spacing

• Improper underlayment

Subfloor Moisture

Excessive subfloor moisture may cause flooring failure.

Installers are responsible for performing moisture testing of the subfloor prior to installation.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Subfloor moisture

• Moisture vapor emissions

• Water intrusion

Water and Flooding

Damage caused by water exposure including:

• Flooding

• Plumbing leaks

• Standing water

• Appliance leaks

is not covered under this warranty.

Environmental Conditions

Damage caused by:

• Extreme temperatures

• Excessive humidity

• Temperature fluctuations

• Direct sunlight or UV exposure

Prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause discoloration or fading.

Furniture and Indentation

Indentation from heavy furniture is not considered a defect.

Furniture legs must use protective floor pads to reduce indentation.

Heavy furniture, appliances, or rolling loads may cause permanent indentation and are not covered by warranty.

Pet Damage

Damage caused by pets including:

• Scratches

• Chewing

• Stains

is not covered under this warranty.

Improper Use or Abuse

Damage caused by:

• Dragging heavy furniture or appliances

• Dropping heavy objects

• Damage from sharp objects

• Damage from vacuum cleaner beater bars

• Heavy rolling loads

is not covered.

Surface Wear

SPC flooring is scratch resistant but not scratch proof.

This warranty does not cover:

• Scratches

• Scuff marks

• Loss of gloss

• Minor dents

• Surface abrasion

Construction Damage

Damage caused during or after installation by construction activities or other trades is not covered.

Fire or Natural Disaster

Damage caused by:

• Fire

• Flood

• Natural disasters

• Intentional damage

is not covered.

MANUFACTURING TOLERANCES

Manufactured flooring may include minor variations including:

• Color variation

• Gloss level differences

• Pattern differences

These variations are considered normal manufacturing tolerances and are not defects.

MATERIAL INSPECTION

Flooring materials should be inspected prior to installation.

KL will not cover labor costs or replacement of flooring that had visible defects prior to installation.

Installation of the product constitutes acceptance of the material.

TRANSPORTATION DAMAGE

Damage caused during transportation must be reported within 30 days of delivery.

Failure to report transportation damage within this timeframe may void warranty claims.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

If a manufacturing defect is reported in writing to KL, the company may, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the defective product, or

• Replace the defective product with new flooring material

Replacement will be provided one time only per affected area.

KL reserves the right to inspect any installation before approving warranty claims.

REPLACEMENT COLOR MATCH DISCLAIMER

Replacement flooring may vary in color, shade, or pattern from the original installation due to:

• Manufacturing batch differences

• Product improvements

• Natural variation

KL does not guarantee exact color matching.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

KL shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect damages

• Incidental damages

• Consequential damages

• Loss of use

• Loss of time

• Property damage

• Construction delays

KL’s maximum liability under this warranty is limited strictly to repair or replacement of defective flooring material.

This warranty extends only to the original residential purchaser and is not transferable.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Proper care and maintenance will help ensure your flooring remains in excellent condition.

Moving Furniture

When moving heavy furniture or appliances:

• Place protective panels on the floor

• Slide items across the panels instead of dragging

Furniture Protection

Use furniture pads to reduce indentation.

Heavier furniture requires larger protective pads.

Dirt Prevention

Place walk-off mats at entrances to reduce dirt tracked onto flooring.

Regular cleaning will maintain the appearance and performance of the flooring.
