15-YEAR Limited Quartz Countertop Warranty Warranty:

 

Krafter’s Land Cabinetry, Inc. (“KL”) warrants to the original residential end-user purchaser and owner in the United States that its quartz countertop products will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of fifteen (15) years from the original purchase date.

This warranty applies only to quartz surfaces that have been permanently installed in the original purchaser’s residence and fabricated and installed by a KL authorized fabricator or installer.

If a manufacturing defect is determined to exist under this warranty, KL may, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the defective product, or

• Replace the defective product with a functionally equivalent product.

Replacement products will be limited to colors, styles, finishes, and product lines available at the time of replacement.

KL’s decision regarding repair or replacement shall be final and binding.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original installation location.

WARRANTY INSPECTION

KL and its authorized agents must be allowed reasonable time and access to inspect the installed product and evaluate any warranty claim.

All determinations regarding the existence of a manufacturing defect and the applicability of this warranty shall be made solely by KL.

RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY

This warranty applies only to residential interior installations.

The following applications are not covered under this warranty:

• Commercial environments

• Rental properties

• Restaurants or retail establishments

• Offices or public buildings

• Hospitality or institutional facilities

Any installation in commercial settings will void this warranty.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Quartz countertops must be fabricated and installed according to industry standard fabrication and installation practices.

This warranty does not cover damages caused by:

• Improper cabinet support

• Inadequate substrate support

• Improper seam placement

• Incorrect cutouts for sinks or cooktops

• Improper adhesive or fastening methods

• Installation performed by non-authorized installers

Cabinet bases must be structurally sound, level, and capable of supporting the weight of quartz surfaces.

Failure to meet these requirements voids this warranty.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover damage, failure, or defects resulting from or related to, including but not limited to:

Improper Use or Abuse

• Standing or sitting on countertops

• Impact damage

• Dropping heavy objects

• Excessive weight loads

Heat Damage

Quartz surfaces are heat resistant but not heat proof.

Damage caused by:

• Hot cookware

• High heat appliances

• Thermal shock

• Lack of heat protection

is not covered.

Trivets or heat pads must always be used.

Stains

Quartz surfaces are designed to be stain resistant; however, improper cleaning or prolonged exposure to staining agents may result in staining.

This warranty does not cover stains caused by:

• Food or beverages

• Oils or grease

• Chemical exposure

• Improper maintenance

Scratches

Quartz surfaces are scratch resistant but not scratch proof.

This warranty does not cover:

• Surface scratches

• Abrasion marks

• Damage caused by cutting directly on the countertop

Cutting boards should always be used.

Outdoor Use

Quartz surfaces are intended for indoor installations only.

Exposure to:

• UV light

• Weather conditions

• Temperature fluctuations

may cause discoloration or damage and is not covered under warranty.

SEAMS AND ACCESSORIES

Quartz countertops may require seams depending on layout and slab size.

This warranty does not cover:

• Seam appearance

• Seam performance

• Adhesives or caulking

• Sink clips or mounting hardware

• Installation accessories

Seams are expected to be visible and may vary in appearance.

CUTOUTS AND EDGE PROFILES

Damage related to fabrication details is not covered, including:

• Sink cutouts

• Cooktop cutouts

• Faucet holes

• Edge profiles

Minor edge irregularities are considered normal fabrication tolerances.

NATURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF QUARTZ

Quartz surfaces are composed of natural quartz minerals combined with pigments and resins.

Because quartz is a natural material, variations may occur including:

• Color variations

• Pattern differences

• Veining changes

• Particle size differences

• Distribution of aggregates

These variations are part of the product design and are not considered defects.

Small blotches or randomly distributed particulates are part of the natural composition and aesthetic design.

Such characteristics are not covered under warranty.

COLOR MATCH DISCLAIMER

Samples and displays are intended only as general representations of color and pattern.

Actual installed products may vary from showroom samples.

If the customer decides after installation that the selected color or pattern is undesirable, replacement will not be covered under warranty.

Variations between quartz production batches are normal.

TRANSPORTATION & HANDLING

Damage caused by:

• Transportation after delivery

• Improper handling

• Job-site storage conditions

is not covered under this warranty.

Claims for shipping damage must be reported within 30 days of delivery.

STRUCTURAL MOVEMENT

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Building settlement

• Structural movement

• Cabinet shifting

• Improper cabinet installation

Quartz countertops require a stable supporting structure.

REPAIR & REPLACEMENT DISCLAIMER

Replacement materials may not perfectly match the color or pattern of the originally installed countertop due to:

• Natural material variation

• Product improvements

• Color batch differences

KL does not guarantee exact color matching.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

KL shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect damages

• Incidental damages

• Consequential damages

• Loss of use

• Loss of income

• Construction delays

KL’s maximum liability under this warranty is limited strictly to repair or replacement of the defective product.

WARRANTY SERVICE

For warranty service, the purchaser must contact the dealer or installer from whom the countertop was purchased.

All claims must include:

• Proof of purchase

• Description of the issue

• Photographs of the product

• Installation details

KL reserves the right to inspect any product claimed under warranty before approving repair or replacement.
