WOOD PRODUCTS & FINISHES
Stained wood materials contain natural characteristics and may vary significantly. Variations within the same door, cabinet, kitchen, or project are not considered defects and cannot be claimed under this warranty. These natural characteristics may include but are not limited to:
Wood color variations • Grain variations
Color inconsistencies • Knots
Bird pecks • Sap marks • Burl
Chatter marks • Checking
Heartwood and sapwood variations • Mineral streaks
These variations are part of the natural beauty of wood and are not considered defects. Krafter’s Land Cabinetry does not color-select materials nor guarantee color consistency.
The degree of variation may also depend on environmental conditions, region, and the time of year when the
wood is harvested. These natural characteristics are beyond the control of Krafter’s Land Cabinetry and should be expected.
Veneers and solid wood products age and absorb stain differently and may appear differently when new and overtime. This is not considered a defect.
Selections of stained materials should be made using samples less than 12 months old and matching the final finish, species, and style ordered.
Selections made using color blocks, brochures, displays, or other representations are not covered under warranty. Wood and veneer products may change color over time due to exposure to:
Ultraviolet light • Air
Humidity • Moisture
These natural aging processes are expected and are not covered by warranty.
Cabinets may darken or lighten with age due to environmental exposure including sunlight, moisture, smoke, or household cleaners.
Replacement parts may vary in color or appearance due to the natural characteristics of wood.
THERMOFOIL & LAMINATE DOOR STYLES
Thermofoil and laminate door styles use adhesives during the manufacturing process that may be affected by excessive heat.
To prevent potential damage, precautions must be taken when operating ovens or ranges.
Specifically, cabinet doors and drawer fronts located adjacent to ovens or ranges must be opened during high-heat cooking cycles, including:
Broiling
Self-cleaning oven cycles
Failure to follow this procedure may expose cabinetry to excessive heat and will void the warranty.
